1930s-inspired hunting jacket made with water-resistant herringbone fabric from Scotland. Deep, wrap-around inside pocket.
Once purchased, I will send a follow-up survey with shipping and sizing options and information.
- An all-around jacket made to last the test of time. I've built this jacket in the most over-the-top way I could.
- Brass snaps were chosen instead of buttons.
- All fasteners are backed with saddle-grade leather for extra reinforcement.
- Load-bearing seams are double-stitched, and stress points are reinforced with rivets.
Constructed with the main feature as a pass-through pocket. The pocket is accessible through two exterior half-moon entrances, two interior front drop slips, and one lower back pouch. All are connected, so you can distribute the weight of items through the body of the jacket.
- The collar is made from a contrasting heavy duck canvas also from Halley Stevensons.
- It has a soft feel and dry hand, with loads of texture. It will crease and fade with age, and the fabric will tell your story in time.
Adapted from 1930s sleeveless jackets for hunting and fishing from Bean, Red Head, and Drybak.
Accept a tight fit that rests on the belt for ease of use, like raiding or sitting down, and has short sleeves that get out of the way when getting in a working position.
